To all my new followers, I wanted to take a moment

To all my new followers, I wanted to take a moment to acknowledge you, honor you and welcome you to my humble space in this vast social media world.
My name is Claudia Feuerstake, Children’s Book Author & CEO of Spiritual Books For Children.
To give you a little bit of background, the mission I hold close to my heart and behind each book I create whether it’s an activity book or educational guide, is to help your child realize just how exceptional and special they truly are.
To teach them the profound tools to nurture their spiritual connection, develop their own unique talents and gifts, and innate that light and wisdom within them.
As parents, we hold a certain unsung responsibility to expand our children’s internal ability to know themselves and empower them with confidence and love throughout all the stages of their life.
That’s one of the many aspects that we focus on through our educational material while compassionately teaching parents, educators and adults how they can grow passionately themselves, to show our future generations what it means to be fully human.

Have a spare few minutes?
Here’s how you can take 10 minutes to connect with your child.
We all know that love and connection are important aspects to raising healthy, empowered children, but did you know that creating time to connect with them also helps develop more patience and strengthens their ability to self-regulate emotions?
If you’ve been having bursts of chaos, melt-downs or fits recently, then scheduling dedicated “special time” needs to happen immediately.
When you bring this concept into your family home, it shows your children that yes life can get chaotic and stressful but the love you have for them will not get pushed aside or swept away and these ten minutes of “special time” are dedicated to showing them that.
Although ten minutes may seem like a short time (and by all means go far beyond that time limit if your schedule allows) it becomes impactful when you’re fully present and focused on your child.
They thrive on that attention and when you regularly connect with them as individuals you will eventually see what love language drives them and what really makes them feel loved.
Kids grow up so quickly and sometimes just ten minutes a day or as often as possible can make the world of difference in their lives and yours.

When you're consciously evolving as a parent you’re giving birth to new levels and depths of yourself, which also allows your children to authentically operate as their true selves.
Children are constantly mirroring, monitoring and recording all your actions.
They gain new experiences and translate existing information through observing parents and appreciate every behavior you demonstrate, because you’re their role model.
They learn their good and bad from you.
From the way you communicate to your style of living, they eventually imitate all these patterns because to them you are their world.
The way you operate in life will lead the way to how they adopt other habits and personality traits along their journey from other influential means such as society, peer groups or social circles.
When you allow yourself to expand, evolve and experience life from a place of joy, truth, power and worthiness, you are mirroring to your children that they are whole and perfect just as they are.
Those moments of connection will empower them and teach them to tune inwards for guidance, direction and alignment and not to exterior elements.
I encourage you to keep this in mind as you go through your day, week and month.
Hold space for these little eyes to see you evolve as a work of art and uncover divine parts of you, so that you BOTH can shine together.

A 75 year long study was conducted at Harvard Medical School on adult development and the main conclusive finding to what keeps adults happier and healthier was not wealth, success, privilege or accolades…
It was “good relationships”
The quality of the relationship to the people closest to us determined our levels of happiness and health.
There are two take-aways we can immediately reflect on right now as parents:
1. How closely does your family schedule align with these findings
2. Do you model the importance of relationships with yourself and others to your children?
As with all areas of life, relationships and connections are something that our children learn more through us as their parents, then through anyone else.
When you make your children and loved ones feel seen, heard and valued you develop lines of energy that exchange strength to and from that relationship and those are powerful forces.
There’s tremendous value in fostering close relationships throughout every stage of our life, so I encourage you to find ways to cultivate connection - and help your children do the same.
